The Mysterious Disappearance of 6-Year-Old Timmothy Pitzen

Reported Missing

On 11th May 2011, James Pitzen dropped off his son, Timmothy, at kindergarten in Aurora, Illinois. After pulling up at the school gates, 6-year-old Timmothy jumped out of his father’s Jeep, threw on his backpack, said “I love you too, Dad, and I’ll see you later”, and then ran towards his teachers and friends. However, this would be the last time James ever saw or spoke to his son.

Shortly after arriving at school, Timmothy was taken out of class by his mother, Amy Fry-Pitzen, due to a ‘family emergency’. Before he left the classroom, Timmothy’s teacher recalled how he waved to her and said “See you tomorrow!” but she would sadly never see him again. Timmy then got into his mother’s blue 2004 Ford Expedition SUV and they drove away.

Timmothy was taken out of class at Greenman Elementary School in Aurora, Illinois.

When James turned up to collect his son at the end of the day, it quickly became clear that Amy had lied. Confused, James attempted to call Amy multiple times, but could not get through. Instead, he called…
